Missing natural teeth or gaps needing replacement? Implant dentistry offers a clinically proven and safe solution to getting back a great smile and being able to bite and chew with confidence. The use of dental implants represents the gold standard replacement for missing teeth. Dental implants are a more conservative option when compared to bridgework alternatives on natural teeth.

Dental implants are titanium screws that mimic tooth roots in shape. They are carefully placed in the jaw where teeth are missing and once healed, crowns, bridges and dentures can be attached, creating a natural-looking and stable restoration.

Dental implants may be placed at the time of tooth removal so we would always recommend we look into this option before considering an extraction.

Through the use of our digital workflows with CT scanning and 3D printing technologies, we can provide keyhole implant surgeries that enable a quicker and more comfortable healing compared to traditional approaches.

We are proud to offer our patients advanced oral surgery techniques under high-powered magnification by our specialist in this field.

the procedure

  • You will be given a local anaesthetic and offered sedation if you are anxious
  • Implants are carefully and surgically placed. With our advances CT scanning and 3D printing, our procedures are less time consuming compared to more traditional approaches
  • You may have some minor discomfort after the procedure that can be eased with over the counter painkillers. Antibiotics may also be provided for you to take
  • Implants are typically left for 2-3 months before appointments are made for the final stages of the treatment

Life Benefits:

  • When you lose your natural teeth, your jaw bone and surrounding tissues start to disappear over time. When implants are placed in the jaw, it stimulates the bone to remain stable
  • Implants help restore function so you can eat, chew and bite as usual
  • Implants are a natural-looking way to replace missing teeth
